First we must ask the question: What is Organized Living? What does Organized Living look like?
Think for a moment about goal setting. You can set goals right? If you are not organized it’s much harder to reach your goals right?
Organized living requires knowing what, where, and how to organize. Being organized brings success… Being successful means being organized… If you are badly organized, so are the results you get from life. Goals depend on being organized, but people often miss getting organized, so how can they expect to really achieve organized living? They can never achieve organized living through focusing on goals without also having organization as a priority.
What is it that you wish to organize? What rating would you give yourself for organized living? Are you achieving what you want in health, finances, relationships, etc?
If your life was better managed, what better results would you be getting? (You don’t need to spend long on this question to so easily appreciate that being organized is a big key to success)
Consider life as having 3 realms to manage: mental, emotional and physical. From this foundation of being clear on what is organized living, the next step towards such a lifestyle is learning how to get organized. Organizing the home, getting organized in your job, and having an organized social life can seem like great big obstacles.
So what can you do to improve your current organized living status? Well you’ve got to break down those 3 areas of organized living into their own separate ‘departments’. As examples, a big area to organize home is garage organization. Getting organized at work might for you include office furniture, organizing files on computer and managing email! And your personal life, well, that’s just personal. Breaking down the 3 areas of life (physical, mental and emotional) helps you gradually (or sometimes rapidly) achieve an organized lifestyle.
